Welcome to the 2024 Roger Casement Summer School! Join us for an exciting weekend of talks, discussions, reenactments, a publication launch and a social with entertainment.
The event will kick off on Fri, Apr 26, 2024 at 7:30 PM at the Eblana Club in Dun Laoghaire. From 9.30 am on Sat, Apr 27 till late that evening we have a schedule of talks with a focus on international affairs. Great opportunity to meet people with similar interests. See you there!

I just want to congratulate you on the Roger Casement summer school 2024.
When I saw the programme I thought it was a bit thin, but the quality was excellent, and better to have quality than quantity. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to be there on Saturday morning, but I heard that it was very good. And the afternoon certainly was! It gave lots of food for thought. As for the book/pamphlet launch on Friday, I was sorry that I could not stop to buy a copy but I had to rush off to catch a bus. Can you tell me where I can buy it now? Likewise, I did not make the social event but after two long walks and four bus rides that day, I did not have the energy to set off again. I hope the evening went well.
You have left yourself with a lot to live up to in 2025!

I would like to say congratulations on an excellent Roger Casement Summer School. There was a consistently high quality from the book launch on Friday evening to the close on Saturday.
The Friday book launch was really informative, giving the opportunity for open and wide ranging discussion often missing in my experience in the UK.
On Saturday there was a really good balance between historical content and contemporary issues. Speakers were inspiring, engaging, followed by a lively discussion.
Keep up the good work and I look forward to next year’s event. Definitely worth the journey over from West Yorkshire.
